Western Australia is the largest mineing jobs area of them all and with their isolation this has meant that they have many vacant mining positions. This means that WA miners earn slightly more than the countries average of $90,000 per year. Perth, Kalgoorlie, Broome and Port Headland are at the centre of this with hundreds of jobs situated in or around these areas. Queensland is the next largest followed by other state.
